Picking your hardwood floor and hardwood floor installation
One of the more important things you need to know when selecting a floor, is how easy will it be for me to install this floor? It's an important
question that you will have to ask. This leads to the next question: are you going to install the hardwood floor yourself, or have someone else do it for you? If you are planning on installing the hardwood floor yourself, we highly recommend that you read a do it yourself guide before installing your floor. You can find these do it yourself guides on many websites around the Internet. If you would like to submit your very own Do It Yourself (DIY) guide to hardwood flooring, please feel free to use our contact us page to submit your installation guide. If you choose to find a contractor/hardwood floor installer, then this might be the better of the two choices. If the contractor is coming out to install the floor, they have to do a good job, or they don't get paid. They are held accountable for any shoddy or poor work to your floor.

Crynetel Villastone is problematic. Tile backing does not hold up and eventually lifts up causing the surface layer to delaminate. 12998. Mohawk Festivalle Review
I have had continual problems with swelling at the seams with this product. Other laminates that I have used have shown more durability and have not been as sensitive to moisture. I would stay away, far away. It has got to the point where my wife is demanding that I rip out this product and replace it. 12976. Don't bother
We built our home and had robina laminate flooring installed 4 years ago. It was suppose to be an "upgrade" from our builders original choice. We have had nothing but problems not only with the floor but getting the company to stand not only behind it's product, but it warranty. The first issue was was resolved by a distributor coming to our home and changing out a few boards. Then when the same problem occurred on other boards (closer to 3 years in)they denied our claim and proceeded to blame us for the same exact problem with their flooring. It's funny how this March is only 4 years in our home and this particular floor/color is now discontinued; plus there are no boards that match my floor anywhere on the planet apparantly. I wonder if that has anything to do with it and are we the only claim being denied. 12972. Compare Wilson Art to Armstong Laminate Flooring
In 2009 I installed approximately 2000 sq/ft of Wilson Art Laminate Flooring and a 500 sq/ft of Armstrong Laminate Flooring. Within the 1st year there were failures in the joints of the Wilson Art product. The flooring separated at different locations. I contacted Wilson Art and they said it was an "installation" problem (the product wasn't installed correctly). But they could not tell me what I did wrong or where (I pulled the base for the inspection). I've waited 1.5 years so that I could compare it with the Armstrong Flooring. As of this time, the Armstrong Flooring has had no failures but the Wilson Art has continued to fail. Note that I paid $1.00 sq/ft more for the Wilson Art product.
It is clear to me that the Wilson Art Flooring that I installed does not compare to the Armstrong Flooring in product quality, even though I spent 25% more for it.
You can be your own judge, but it would be difficult for me to recommend any Wilson Art Laminate Products.
